The morning of the proposal, Brandon arranged for two of Alyssa’s best friends to surprise and wake her up her at her hotel. A limo drove them around all day to various activities that he had strategically planned for them. The whole day consisted of 7 different cards at various locations including getting her nails & hair done, a massage, and lunch just to name a few. More friends from out of state appeared at various locations throughout the day with new cards. At that point, she admits to assuming a proposal was waiting for her. Brandon had Alyssa pick out a dress earlier that month and had it waiting for her at her hotel when she returned. Upon arriving at Corona Del Mar to receive the last card, Alyssa walked down a long path to a private beach where he was standing. Brandon had lined the walkway with roses and prepared a huge heart outline made of rose petals. He proposed at that spot and their families and closest friends joined them to celebrate in Huntington Beach
. Pretty incredible, right?
Alyssa & Brandon have a lot in common. They love playing sports, going to the beach, traveling across the country to see each other for our quick weekend trips, singing, and making jokes out of everything. Brandon is strong, smart, confident, caring, outgoing, funny, athletic, loving, encouraging, generous, and the most thoughtful person Alyssa has ever met. He is without a doubt everything she wants to be. Brandon wants to bring encouragement into their marriage and Alyssa wants to bring communication. Brandon loves that Alyssa loves the Lord wholeheartedly and always strives to follow God’s word.
They are so thrilled to put the long distance relationship behind them and finally be with each other! We had a great time at their San Diego nautical engagement. First, we began shooting at the Shelter Island
docks and finished their session at Sunset Cliffs
. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding and wish great blessings on them in this exciting season of life!
