Rancho Valencia Engagement

Catherine & Matt’s Rancho Santa Fe engagement session was perfect in every way. We started at the gorgeous hotel and spa, Rancho Valencia where they are getting married next year. Then we finished the shoot at Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach with an incredible fall sunset over the Pacific.

Catherine is originally from Kansas City but has lived in San Diego for a few years and serves in North County as a nurse. She has a big heart for helping people. Matt is a San Diego native and has lived all over the country. He grew up around boats so he knew that eventually, he would settle near the ocean. These two love to explore all that Southern California has to offer: the beaches, the nightlife and the outdoors. They also love to travel. As a couple, they’ve been to Thailand, Paris, and Spain just to list a few. They are also big foodies and appreciate good wine. In fact, Matt proposed at a beautiful winery in Napa! How much more romantic can these two get? I am grateful to have photographed their engagement session and can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Rancho Valencia next year!
