With their love for the outdoors and weekend getaways to Temecula, Keys Creek Lavender Farm was the perfect spot for their engagement session!
Mario & Kelsey have been friends since grade school. They met in geometry class and though shy in those early years, they remained friends. During their sophomore year, Mario took a leap and asked Kelsey to the homecoming dance. He became one of the starting football players and she would root for him as a cheerleader… since then, their love has only grown deeper! I love how these High School and College sweethearts fell in love and are now stepping into marriage, a decade later, with a long and beautiful adventure ahead of them.
They have a huge hearts for their animals so it’s was only natural for their dog Kaia to join us! Travel is a big priority for Kelsey and Mario – they love to try new restaurants in their favorite cities, San Francisco and New York. Family gathered at the dinner table, daytime outings and being outdoors are really important as they enter marriage. Kelsey & Mario are big fans of quality time together – they love their date nights and that’s something that Meg and I are huge advocates of!
Kelsey is moved by Mario’s generosity and selflessness. She recognized that, “He will always be the one person who offers his hand first. He cares so much for the people who he loves… Mario has one of the biggest hearts I know.” When asked what Mario loves about Kelsey, he said her motherly instincts. Mario shared, “She always has other’s best interest in mind regardless of their background and that it just comes natural to her. There are a million other qualities that I admire about Kelsey but this is one that stands out amongst the rest.” I love Kelsey & Mario’s excitement for their first look on their wedding day – they can’t wait to see each other before anyone else because it’s such an intimate way to begin the day.
I can’t wait to photograph your wedding and for your incredible love story to continue to unfold in front of my lens!
