Welcome back to Part Two of Hannah & Austin’s beautiful, bright, seaside wedding! In case you missed it, check out Part One of this amazing wedding before you move forward. You’ll definitely want to see it in order!
For the second half of the day, the Pacific Terrace was set with community tables, spread out in five long rows, and ready to accommodate over 250 guests (the largest wedding L’Auberge has ever seated!). Each plate was prepared with a loaf of Panera Bread for communion and custom menus. Rustic driftwood, glassware from Hostess Haven, eucalyptus and bright pops of red from The Flower Shop Encinitas lined down the middle of the tables. My favorite wooden chairs from Raphael’s gave the decor a great blend of rustic and romantic along with layered votives that truly adding the perfect touch for twilight.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was when the entire wedding made their way from Seagrove Park to the reception at the resort, via a HUGE parade! The group was led by a three-piece brass band played ‘Surfin USA‘ by The Beach Boys and followed by the lovely couple, their parents, the wedding party and their guests. I’ve never seen anything like it!
After being seated and hearing a few toasts, Hannah & Austin had a moment to slip away for a peaceful portrait session at sunset – they took a quick break to simply take it all in and be mindful of each, small and big moment! The night was set for a party downstairs in the Ballroom. Concepts Event Design filled the room with white leather lounge furniture, VG Bakery with their amazing, 3 layer, white frosting custom cake and the Platinum Terrace was ready to go with an Amigo Booth and live donut station by Sensational Treats. Live music by Allan Phillips and his band kept the dance floor busy all night!
This amazing wedding team, L’Auberge staff and event design by Michele Woodcock of Before I Do Events truly made this day come alive! I could not be more honored to have photographed Hannah & Austin’s wedding day and look forward to seeing their marriage bless so many people!
