That’s right, you read the title correctly, Hannah & Austin’s L’Auberge Del Mar wedding was so incredible that it deserves a two part blog! You may have caught their love story on the blog a few months ago with their Point Loma Lighthouse Engagement Session. Now, get ready to view the storybook, seaside, San Diego wedding of the year because that is exactly what this day was!
Hannah’s gorgeous wedding dress was made by the Israeli, couture designer, Galia Lahav and purchased at The White Dress in Corona Del Mar. Jimmy Choo wedges were the perfect compliment to the soft, romantic bouquets and flower crowns by The Flower Shop in Encinitas. Austin surprised Hannah with a stunning addition to her engagement ring as she was getting ready for the big day – all of her bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids, family, and flower girls crowded around her in awe. The groomsmen looked sharp in their black tuxedos, bow ties, suspenders and bright colorful socks. Hannah also incorporated a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress around the base of her bouquet. It was truly a day full of meaningful moments and details.
With three First Looks of the beautiful bride with Hannah’s dad, her brother, and Austin, there was no shortage of tears. In fact, they were joyfully flowing throughout the day! The ceremony hovered over Seagrove Park, aisle lined with large lanterns, coastal driftwood, and pink rose petals. Austin washed Hannah’s feet during the ceremony as a symbol of servanthood and a husband entering a marriage covenant. It was such a powerful display of humility. Their vows were so meaningful and sincere, I’m certain all 300 guests were on the edge of their seat either smiling wide or full of tears.
After the ceremony, we photographed the lovely couple above the pacific ocean. The wedding professionals and staff at L’Auberge Del Mar were truly exceptional. I can not say enough about Allie, Adele, Dalice and their whole team who went above and beyond to make this day remarkable – more to come about that in Part Two! So much is packed into this one blog post but there are many more incredible photographs and stories to share of this day! You’ll have to check back on the blog for this fairytale with Hannah & Austin. Enjoy stepping into their wedding day and feel free to leave a comment below to send the happy couple your love!
