Once Ben decided that Sami was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, he surprised her with a helicopter ride to Catalina Island. They arrived at a beautiful hotel with a view, he got down on a knee and asked the big question. They couldn’t be happier to get married, to see each other during the ceremony, and to surround themselves with all of their closest family and friends!

       Ben has worked with dolphins as a Navy diver. Sami loves serving the elderly population and has a really big heart. As a couple, they are big cat lovers, enjoy working out together, going to the beach, reading books, and being with family and friends. Since they’re both big fans of our beautiful & developing downtown San Diego, we started the shoot in East Village and finished along the harbor in Point Loma. With Ben’s work in the Navy, we were able to shoot on base, near The Ocean View at Ballast Point. This is a place where he has spent years training and serving our country. It was an incredible day and a perfect way to end the shoot. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding later this year!
