Aly & Steven’s
Scripps Seaside Forum engagement was so much fun! I loved getting to know these two and you’ll quickly realize why, here on the blog. They’re both San Diego natives and went to college at
University of Arizona. Aly & Steven returned back to San Diego for work and actually met in the city they grew up in. After talking for hours at
Prep Kitchen on their first date, they connected instantly and had lots in common. They love game nights, living in community and connecting with friends and family. Building close relationships is really important to them as these were family values instilled in them from an early age.
Aly loves that Steven is always willing to put others’ needs above his own. His sacrificial presence in their relationship is really important to Aly. She is a 5th-grade teacher and has a big heart for helping kids from all walks of life learn and grow. Together, these two make a pretty great pair. On a perfect day, you can find them enjoying a baseball game or relaxing at the beach on a gorgeous, sunny, San Diego day.
At their engagement session, Aly & Steven wore clothes from their
alma mater and brought their loyal dog, Coop. Since they love the beach, we started in a eucalyptus grove that sat above
Scripps Pier in La Jolla. Then we made our way toward the beach to capture the unique architecture of
Scripps Seaside Forum and the soft orange hue as the sun set over the Pacific. Enjoy getting to know these two on the blog today and keep your eyes out for their incredible wedding at
Estancia La Jolla this summer!
