Antonina & Javier’s Coronado Wedding was perfectly placed in two of the most historic neighborhoods in all of San Diego, Mission Hills and Coronado Island. Both of these communities date back to the late 1800s and they chose their first look to take place at The Junípero Serra Museum, in Presidio Park, one of the most familiar landmarks in San Diego. In 1769, this mission stood to symbolize the beginning of California. As we gathered on January 30, 2015 to witness Antonina and Javier share vows and commit their lives to one another before their favorite people on earth and before God, an even greater story began to unfold on these historic grounds.
Antonina & Javier couldn’t be any sweeter. Their story starts in high school. Antonina and Javier both knew of either be neither of them were ready to date. It wasn’t until years down the road when a great community of friends and family gathered around these high school friends that Antonina & Javier would start to fall in love. She’s calm and collected, strong and sweet, wears her heart on her sleeve and not afraid to show her emotion. He’s a hard worker, consistent and faithful, a protector and provider, full of compassion and humility. Together, these two love to laugh! They fill a room with a smile and will be an amazing team as they march on through life together.
Their wedding party looked incredible in their classic black dresses for the ladies and black skinny ties for the gents. As you scroll below, one of the highlights of the evening was Javier sharing his love for his family, who lives in different cities throughout Mexico, in no better way than an amazing Mariachi band! An awesome party awaits below, enjoy!
